Yearbook Photo Information

YEARBOOK PHOTOS: MAKEUP/RETAKE DATES

  • Lower School: Photographs for the yearbook will be taken in the Hamilton Room in Love Hall on Thursday, October 18 and Friday, October 19. Students will have their photos taken with their class. All students should adhere to the dress code.
  • Middle/Upper School: Retakes will be taken in the Leslie Seminar Room in Pressly Hall on Wednesday, October 17, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. If you are getting your photo done or retaken, it is considered a "dress up day". On dress-up days, students are expected to wear dress slacks, dress shoes, collared shirt with tie and jacket, nice dresses or skirts with appropriate blouses.

Lynx Yearbook Staff

The Lynx Yearbook Staff is selected in the spring of the previous school year. Only rising seniors from the yearbook staff may apply to be a Head Editor. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are welcome to apply to be on the yearbook staff. No previous experience is necessary, although returning staff will be given preference. Due to the small size of the staff, freshmen are not eligible to apply for yearbook staff but are encouraged to apply in the spring of their freshman year as rising sophomores.

FAQ

When does the current school year's yearbook come out?

The yearbook theme and the faculty/staff dedications are revealed during the very last assembly of the year in May.

I forgot to pick up my yearbook from last year. Where can I get one?

If there are still yearbooks in stock, you can email Mrs. Nye at pamelanye@westminster.net to request one.

What is the supplement?

The main book covers events at the school from the previous summer through the end of February. Because of the printing schedule, the book has to be completed and sent to the Jostens Plant in Clarkesville, Tennessee before March. The supplement covers events at the school from March through May, including all of the spring sports. If you would like to have one from 2018, please fill out this form.

What do I do with the supplement?

There is a sticking strip on the back, and you can place it in the back of the main book.

I am an alum, and my yearbook was lost and/or damaged. Do you have any extras of my year(s)?

We have some extras that are available to alumni at no charge. Please contact Pamela Nye, the archivist, at pamelanye@westminster.net, to see if there is one in stock. There is no guarantee that we will have an extra copy of your year, but we are happy to provide one to you if there is one available.
