Overview

The Westminster Schools was created in 1951 from the merger of two Atlanta private schools: Washington Seminary (1878) and North Avenue Presbyterian School (1909). The Lewis H. Beck Archives contains primary source materials from all of these schools, with the oldest record dating back to 1882.

This is a work-in-progress where the faculty and archivist are collaborating to create lessons to incorporate into existing PBLs, eventually reaching across all grade levels.

If you have a unit or PBL that you would like to add a lesson using Archives resources, please contact me!

Contact the Archivist

Feel free to contact the archivist for research or citation assistance. I am generally available in my office for drop-in help or scheduled appointments throughout the academic day.
