Course and Project Description

This course is designed for sixth-year Spanish language students.  The focus is on high intermediate to advanced development of proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking Spanish.  Contemporary Spanish-language film provides the medium through which aspects of Hispanic culture and language will be studied.

Throughout the semester you will write essays on various films, film directors, film themes, and other topics as assigned by Dr. Olid.  This research guide will provide access to film reviews and other relevant articles, in both Spanish and English, for your essays and projects this semester.  Do not hesitate to ask Dr. Olid or a librarian for help at any point in your research.
